Hi
Am new to the site so if I have missed an answer to my question
The tailgate window is not working on my vehicle
Have got replacement regulator kit etc
The problem I have is the window is stuck in the up position
Have checked lots of YouTube videos on the fix of the window but I’m all of these the window has dropped or is held in place with a piece of wood
Have stripped the door panel and can undo bolts on motor and window guides but can’t move the window down you do clamps holding the glass
Is there a manual way to wind it down or can anyone recommend how to resolve this
Your advice would be much appreciated

Thanks one cable is snapped so assumed that the window would have dropped but will try cutting the rest
Thanks
The window is hung on cables at each end of the glass. Cut the cables where I've marked with red dots on this picture.

Thanks again will try later hopefully when it stops bucketing down
Might be back to you on re threading the cables but hopefully should be okay
Cheeky I know but wipers on intermittent seem to stop at top of screen rather than comply a full swipe and return on the next cycle they return to home position assume I am going to have to get at the wiper motor?

Copy the cable routing in the picture exactly, if you want to get it right;)

That's a fault with the return contact in the drive drum. It is often repairable, but it's easier to replace the wiper motor.
