Hi my missus went to range rover this morning and wouldn't start it turn over finebut not fire up she sure it popped up withtrans fault on dash display
Would any onehave a idea what it could be
 
Long shot have you checked battery terminals haven't come loose after new battery fitted. This happened to me with positive not fitted quite properly.
 
Will have to check it I know they should be 1000 cca
Either you are doing a lot of short journeys, or there's is a bad connection between the alternator and the battery or the alternator is fecked. If the alternator is original, it will be charging at 13.8 volts which is note enough to charge a modern Lead/Calcium automotive starter battery.
 
I'd get it fully charged start car and then measure voltage across terminals at 2000 revs to see what you are charging at. Should tell you if alternator fecked
