websun .. you will know this junction ..

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.8...jiR1C1w!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!9m2!1b1!2i27?hl=en

and you will know that often hi-powered cars will do the screaming overtake up that hill
( 2 lanes up .. 1 lane down )

so this rs3 races up the hill behind me .. and takes to the right-hand-turn lane ..
we are both at the stop-light .. he sits there reving the engine ..
light turns green .. his 4 wheels are spinning and he goes straight ahead ..
narrowly missing on-coming traffic waiting to turn right ..
he gets to the next light at haworth.road .. he does the same thing ..
and thru a red light at that ..
( i just managed to see that at a distance )

a few months back .. had one .. ( rs3 ) overtake me on moorside road ..
and the idiot overtook me on a blind curve ..
weren't like i was driving slow either ..
there are often people walking on that road ( no sidewalk ) ..
stupid thing were .. the light were red at the junction ..
and he managed to be a whole car length in front at the light ..
if i remember rightly he ran that red light as well ...

methinks it ( or both ) were rented-for-the-day type cars ..
~~~~~~~`
just to add ..
yeah i know it aint the car .. it's the driver ..
must be frustrating .. methinks .. to have a hi-powered car in todays congested roads ..
some folk just can't exercise self-control given lots of bhp in a relatively light weight car ..
having said that .. have seen some risky overtaking by RRsport drivers ..
recently .. one overtook 3 cars all doing 60mph ( single lane A road )
as they were approaching a well used junction .. on a blind bend ..
he .. or she .. narrowly missed an arctic lorry coming the other way ..
must add .. have seen a few rs3's / golf r's / etc .. being driven in a responsible manner ..
I know that junction very well, used to go via there every morning when I lived in Bradford. Never saw any incidents there... most were on Haworth.
In Bradford a dashcam is a must. That is why insurance here is like nowhere in England.
An early V6 too.
mmmmm .. i didn't see that at first ..
maybe a bit of 'competition' going on there ..
effing 'ell .. ivanhoe is a back street !
weapons as well ..
when I lived in Bradford
what .. you moved out ?
to Brakistan ? ( i assumed by that name you meant 'bradford' )
well .. brakistan don't show on google maps :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I moved to Steeton, very rural. Rather do 25 mins to work/Shipley than ever set foot in Bradford again.
Steeton ? .. yes .. very nice .. i used to go to pub music jams there .. long time back before the dual-carriage bypass were built ..
hope you enjoy living there .. has got to be better than bradford :)
gotta say .. folk living in my out-of-the-way back street .. next to woodland .. are good people ..
fairly mixed ethnicity at that ..

ah yes .. i remember that well ..
showing off i rekon .. did'nt think about the extra weight in the car ( passengers )
and he took to the wrong side of the road at that junction ..
ooops .. sudden sharp curve .. car don't handle as in video games ..
car versus tree .. tree usually wins ..

( mine's recently been changed to 2wd ..
( have had a bit of wheel-spin at that junction on a wet road
( it's slightly uphill .. rekon his front wheels simply lost grip
( along with the steering ..

i googled the names ..
seems like one of them had just been released from prison .. dealing class A drugs
( no surprise )
