Replaced a drop link not too long ago and it sounds like it’s gone again. Anyone recommend a decent make of drop link. It’s a 2006 Freelander 1 TD4.

Avoid cheap altogether. ****part are just that. Allmakes boots fail between MOTs too. I've used Delphi in the past, but only managed two MOTs with those.

try one of these TRW, FAG, SKF, CORTECO, the first would be my choice TRW. I always add some extra grease into the joints before I fit any drop link, be it on the FL or R40
