Hi guys, after a bit of info about the searle safari.
I have come across a 1961 series 2 swb searle safari.
Its 2.25 petrol with van sides.
Unfortunately most of the bits seem to be missing, as in the seats and roof rack.
It does have the modified bulk head and searle badge.

My questions: would the landy have any reference on the log book or chassis number to identify it as a searle.
Is it totally impossible to obtain the kit that is missing.
What would a ball park valuation for this vehicle be?
And any other general info on a searle safari?

Cheers

Take the price with a pinch of salt, but yes it does have a value.

Use the links to look at the interiors. Looks like the fold flat seats are the big mod plus the roof poles that pull out.
Secondly I would think you could make most of the parts you need. The mods will be small batch production with a lot of hand finishing. Does it have the holes and poles in the roof?

If your in discussion with seller can you take photos and chassis details and post here so the gurus can help?
