I assume it's in a rubber.
It's a lot easier with two if you've never done it before
Put the rubber on the glass.
Get yourself some nice (NOT THIN) string and lay it in the channel in the rubber that's going onto the metalwork.
Sit the glass and rubber on the bottom lip and with one person holding the glass onto the bodywork on one side from the other pull the string out, slowly, and that will flip the rubber onto the metal work.
Thin string will cut into the rubber.
You might have to persuade the last few bits, don't be tempted to use a screwdriver, find something that won't puncture the rubber.

Just done it plenty of washing up liquid and was on me own tried it with the string but it wasn't pulling rubber over window tried rubber on window first but could not do it that way i'm afraid i went with the screwdriver and gently prized the rubber over the window took about 40 mins but have done it. Cheers Dan

All's well that ends well

If you've ever got to do it again you can usual find a wooden or plastic lever in the kitchen drawer, whilst she's not looking. Less chance of chipping the glass or poking holes in the rubber.

Warm the rubber in hot water use washing liquid and **** the string off get para cord

As Dogsbody said, your better getting somebody else on the outside holding the glass for you in position, not too much pressure, just enough and if you use quarter inch thick rope, start from the top of the rubber down to the bottom, make a loop and continue putting the rope on till you get back at the top where you started from. Soapy liquid spray, and pull the rope, both ends towards you till the rubber lips over the aperture for about 6 inches. Now, see that loop you made at the bottom? Start to pull that, slowly.......make sure the other person is applying not too much pressure!! Make sure that you try to pull the rope evenly at top and bottom, then just pull the rope, taking your time around the corners. That ok????
