I'm sure this has been covered but couldn't find it by searching.

I'm thinking of covering my 300tdi dash and door cards in a fake leather viynal material to revamp them from the tierd state they are in.

Should be much cheaper (some thin fabric and spray) than all new parts !

Whose done it, any lessons and of course pics please !!!!!

I have used head lining material which has a foam backer for the dash and it makes it look soo much better (in my opinion). I have also recovered the head lining and rear window surround in the same material. For the door trims and sun visors I used back to black to dye them so I now have all matching.

Mine was all done when I got it. It looked great but the door cards stank from getting damp all the time
I'm going to try think up a good solution to protect the door cards when I get new ones!!! Theres so much water in the internals and the plastic splash guard is as waterproof as that sock you keep by your bed !!!
