Drop in the bucket these days, saw a 1999 Td5 90 for £11,995 last weekend.

good luck on your quest they are out there.

Defender prices are high now. That’s why I chose P38A for my current victim. Much comfier and cheaper than my old 300TDI 90.

Paid 10k for a (nice, not great) 98 300tdi 90 CSW in 2017.
Was from a dealer and, admittedly, I was rash.
Look hard and long and jen up on what to look for. Loads of trash with a bit of flash out there.

Was Walton Motors up Guildford way. They usually have half a dozen or so you could poke around and get a feel for what you like. Your budget won't go far though.

Do not go to Walton motors we have heard a lot of bad press about then, i went to them and was not impressed with there motors or attitude
i believe there is a thread about them on here.

Increase the security. They is easily nicked.
