Only some minor updates today.

Managed to find and solve an oil leak. Seems the seal on the filler cap on the rocker cover was no good. New caps are available and pretty cheap and a clean up of the head and block with some degreaser and all is looking better.

Need to fix the indicators, the flasher unit has mostly stopped working, I also ordered the wrong one as a replacement  And the front nearside indicator has rusted to buggery, despite not being that old. So new units bought and ready to fit.

Off green laning in Wales soon. So new iPad mount fitted and ready, yay!

So the Silverstone Classic is fast approaching and my Land Rover is one of the vehicles selected by the PH Team to be on display as part of their Icon Display. I feel truly honoured at this, although a little apprehensive too. As my Land Rover is far from pristine and I'm fully aware it is going to be parked up with shiny examples of vehicles worth far more money.

Some attempts have been made to tidy it up a little more. Although the finish is more a 5 yard standard than getting up close and personal. A few bits to finish off yet, but getting there.

Great thread! Great build!

I'm starting to get my 3 together, its all in bits at the moment, has been since I was 20! But starting on the bulkhead soon, have to cut out some on the passenger side to fit the left bank in on the 3.5! Very inspiring, just what I needed!! Cracking job!
