The EAS software usually uses comm port 4, you have to change the Comms port in the pull down menu at the top left of the screen.
Did you install the driver for the adaptor BEFORE plugging the adaptor in? If you plugged in first it will not work as Windows installs a generic X-On/X-off driver that is not compatible with the EAS software.

Nope just plugged and played as no driver CD came with them
No instructions to download a driver? I'm not familiar with Win 10, but unless it is very different in the use of drivers to earlier versions of Win, the inbuilt drivers will not work with the EAS
You need to get a USB to serial adaptor with a full RS232 implementation and the correct driver.
Another option if your laptop has a cardbus slot is a cardbus serial port.

I nornally find ones with FTDI chipset work best and you can get generic drivers from FTDI themselves.
Prolific chipset ones work OK too but finding the basic simple driver is not as easy in my opinion.

This is the one I went for hope the bugger works

Well it works now to try and diagnose the fault I'm thi king it is a faulty sensor if I pull the relay it stays put and doesn't loose any air but when I put relay back in it self levels till on bumpstops

Cannot get rear right to lift
So, if it doesn't move, either there is a leak or a valve is not operating due either to a connector problem in the EAS box or a driver pack fault.
If you go to the Calibrate tab, do you get the same result if you try to send the EAS to different heights.
Was the engine running when you were working on the EAS?

Won't raise at all pump is running and making good air engine was running even on calibration it won't move going to swap out valve block and driver to see if it makes a difference
