Hi all , had the guy plug in and read the codes , and he has told me it the shuttle valve on the abs ..

This seems like a pain in the arse job , and expensive ... access to the switch isn't easy .

Im happy to drive it without the abs , but need the lights to go out for the mot ...

any easy fixes, or cheap fixes ??

the guy cleared the faults , and I have been for a drive out , so far they the lights have stayed off ...

been looking to see if the switch can be replaced without removing the whole unit , from what I have read its a wing off job to get access ...

what a pain , Id like the lights to stay off , but im not that lucky ..

Does the defender suffer the same issue as the D2? The wiring mod fixed mine, bought new pre wired switches so it was really easy to do, comes with a new pair of plugs to connect the mod so it looks factory and no fuss if you ever need to remove the whole thing.

i am guessing that it is the same problem , I have just seen a kit like to mention on eBay .. think the other problem is access to the unit , some have posted about removing the whole wing to do the switch .. :(
