Vvvmmmmm. Vvvvmmmm noise td5 110

so posting to see if some one has come across this fault before

Only happens on acceleration from about 30mph onwards up to 70mph etc

It goes

Vvvvvvvmmmmm, Vvvvvmmmmm, Vvvvmmmmm, Vvvvmmmm and so on with a moments gap inbetween each vvvvmmmmmm. It can also be felt the seats


Props good nothing banging or loose

I’m stumped

How does it go again?

The TD5 seems to have more than a few quirks and gremlins prancing about in that thar' engine I think.

I think we need a short video of this noise.

Possibly the turbo...but its difficult to access without having it

Sounds like a tyre to me. Guess it all depends how we interpret Vvvvmmmmm

With it not being constant I ruled out tyres and wheel bearings, tried a video but you can’t here it

Will jack it up at weekend n spin each wheel

check tyres again for uneven wear, they dont necessarily give a constant noise
