Disco 2 Transfer box leak

Does this look like an output seal? Not driven it since I spotted the leak, believe it started on the journey home as it was dry under it at my office car park.

Wondering what the cost of fixing it is vs the effect on resale value. I’ve got an allowance from work for something new and I just don’t have the time to tinker that I used to so I am likely to sell it in the not to distant future.

Just hose it off with brake cleaner and monitor closely the Seepage!

But yes likely an output shaft seal..

Check your transfer box breather for blockage and that seal costs about £6 and takes about an hour to change.

I did mine last year when I replaced the front output shaft bearing.

Excellent thanks. New car doesn’t come for a few weeks so I’ll look into it. Tough having to part with it after having an LR for so long, could park it up until I’m ready to play again but the money would be more useful elsewhere.
