With thanks to @bankz5152 for the thoughts on the LOF clutch slave cylinder.

Now then it doesn't fit the Discovery 200Tdi nor many other Land Rovers, so how do we get around this?

I saw the RedBooster clutch booster for the Td5 Defender and was thinking about that as an idea so did some goggle searching (actually duckduckgo as it leaves my data safe from being sold by goggle) and came up with this.

A remote single line brake booster, looks like it would work as the clutch is only a single line and @1.90:1 ratio it seems like it would work adequately?

Has anyone else fitted such or anything like it before?

What was the part by the gearbox/slave cylinder pipe on some of the 200tdi discos?
Was a disk with in/out think this made the clutch pedal easier. It was standard

You’d need to find out the quantity of fluid pumped in one operation, and know that it equalled or greater than the quantity required by clutch cylinder

@Disco1BFG has worked it all out:rolleyes:
He's normally quite quick to post a link to his thread but not this time:(.
Maybe searching will bring it up?
He can push the pedal down with one finger, going to do his mod on my 110 once I've caught up with other stuff.

Not a clicky link, don't know how to do them but I just searched 'red booster' posts by disco1bfg and it's there.;)

Goes to show how forgetful I am  I even posted in that very fred in January this year  Although in my defence I will say that I am relatively forgetful anyways, even forgot to close the front door when I left for work this morning, kindly neighbour shut it for me and left a note lol :D

Good find, why couldn't I find it when I did my cursory search here and on goggle?

No matter, we now know the answer.

It verks and will be an addition in the next decade or so if I don't scrap it in the mean time lol

Hi I fitted a servo to my clutch circuit on my 200tdi in 1991, (to make the clutch lighter). started it today after it’s been not used for 10 years,
Incredibly it started on first turn, clutch working fine so I promised her I will put her back on the road soon,
A couple of outer sills to do and change my LT77 for a R380,
Very pleased with the chassis condition, when I brought her in 1990 I waxoil every where and except for the sills and rear arches she his sound,

Very nice, looking forward to seeing a build thread in the members vehicles forum.
