Hi guys,
I have acquired a d2 td5 that will not unlock both rear doors and the boot. From the inside or outside. It has has had a replacement interior fusebox and a refurbished bcu due to water ingress.
Both front doors work fine, unlocking from remote and there are no other bcu related issues. Can anyone help or tell me what to test next please ?

Thanks

Nope not a thing, will actuate front doors from the rocker switch but nothing happening on the rear, I've known the vehicle for a few years and they've always unlocked but it seems a bit weird for all 3 of them to stop working at once.

Hi, put your ear(or a stetoscope) on each non working door near the latch and listen if you hear any activity when you lock/unlock with fob... if you do all the actuators are gone, if no sound we'll speak again, the gist is that all those doors are on the same circuit with the front passenger door so if that works the BCU is ruled out, the problem can be within the interior fusebox or in a hidden header joint.... the receiver has nothing to do with that as long as one door works... if you are certain that the fusebox is OK you have to get to C0290 and see there the purple/red wires, you can see the location and pin disposals in RAVE - Electrical library - Connector views, that header is wrapped into that loom there, i've never seen problems with it

Sorry the first link had french in it "télécharger" just means "download". I am in France at the moment which is why that happened. Both work although you have to gve permission for the first one. If in doubt go for the second link, under the big square!

Hi guys bit of an update, nothing works from the internal rocker switch (you can hear the internal fusebox clicking.

The passenger door will not remote unlock and has to be opened up from the inside but will lock on the fob.

And now the drivers door will not lock remotely you have to use the key.

I was hoping you'd weigh in on this one, your posts are always brilliant !

I can hear all the motors going when I press the unlock button, what could cause them all to go at once though ?
