Folks I couldn't think where else to put this so I'm winging it and sticking it here...... so I have been at sea for a few weeks with work, when I got home (today) I tried to unlock my L322 TD6 2003 using the fob.... then the key when the fob did nothing..... and nothing.... I can't get into my RR at all so any advice is most welcome as usual and a big thanks in advance :)

Oh opps:(
Yes really would have been better starting a new thread but hey ho:)

So I take it your saying the key didn’t get you in?
So you have a flat battery and an issue with the door lock mechanism:oops:
Wow wouldn’t think that of a RR;)

What tow socket do you have if any?

It’s old thread but may help once door open

Not had to break into my L322 yet so can’t help.

Thanks for the info! :) greatly appreciated indeed, it's a wet wet wet evening here in the NI hills and even though my skin is waterproof and my bones won't rust I think I will leave it until a hopefully drier morning, I will then take a good stab at getting this donkey up and at it again!, she was fine before I left in fact I had just driven from Dublin to Ballycastle without any issues in fact since I have owned the L322 I have had next to no major problems (touching wood) lol

Oh and yes...... it has a tow bar and socket..... do you think I could get some charge introduced through it to allow for central locking operation??

The lads/guys , would probably direct you to RAVE or TOPIx but us mere girls, wouldn't know any of that
Is that because you are just "girls" and only know about hair and nails, and only menfolk know cars and such? Or were you being cryptically critical of a "Guys" call? :D

Im excited!!!!! it is indeed!!!! so that's a go then! :) Thanks!!!!

Yep our C-tek charger has an adapter for the 13 pin socket for trickle charging, so you don’t need to faff with the bonnet.

If you don’t have the adapter don’t worry just goggle the 13 pin socket and locate your live, earth is earth no issue.

Good luck.

Guys thanks for all the responses and advice! you are a great bunch!!! :) I actually tried something different lol..... I was away from my laptop so didn't get the chance to see these ideas before I did what I did which was to jack up the front of my L322, slide underneath and attached my charger to the connection on the starter motor which connects directly to the battery.... worked a treat though I wasn't parked in a great part of the yard so I ended up covered in mud  though the L322 sprung to life...... need to get a battery now!
Again I can't thank you folks enough!!...... :)

And take off you door card to find out why the key don’t work:D

Well done at least your up and running :)
