So today my lovely trust worthy rangey decided it had a dead battery! Yay! This joys!

Anyways after having it jumped and taken to a garage to have a new one fitted , it for dropped off at work for me and now is fully working!

But now my computer just shows a blank blue screen?!

Can you help me please how do I get this back on?

TIA.
Katie.

Must be a newer one if it has a blue screen its not a p38,
so if an l322 was the correct procedure followed for the jump start.

Could be they killed the satnav by not waiting for it to shut down (little red light to go off), might just need a battery reset doing, do a search for L322 battery hard reset should be something out there about it.

I guess not , because I had it connected to a battery pack and just started it , but the screen was still working at this point , it wasn’t until the battery was changed and was dropped off I noticed it ( it was delivered to me at work ) I have no idea lol

It does sound like the correct procedure was not followed which will have scrambled the software in the satnav unit. No easy fix for that, may need a replacement unit.

I assume she refers to the satnav/radio screen in the dash centre....

If this just shows as a blue or blank screen, the jump *may* have fragged the sat nav unit, try unplugging this and see if the screen comes back with the radio and menu screen etc...

The Satnav unit in the L322 is a sensitive little diva who will readily throw toys out of the pram if the battery is disconnected incorrectly or the car is jumped in the wrong manner....but it is just a case of using the jump points under the bonnet and not direct to battery is all there really is to it!

Thank you I’m going to take it back now and see what they can do
