Hi folks names Archie. I have a disco 2 facelift. I got this truck in a deal and then sold it to my boss he wanted to build it into an offroader to sell on. How ever as we got into the build the work pilled up and the chassis welding was extensive to say the least. My Boss decided I was to much and stopped the build.

Now when this truck first came to us I hated the thing. Bleut as I worked and struggled with it I starrted to bond with the thing and now I just love my truck. Needless to say the truck is now back in my possession along with the offroad parts that my boss had. What is this strange addiction ive been over come with lol.

Anyway folks Im here for the long run so hope to get to know plenty of the people on here

Cheers Archie

Welcome to LZ. :)

Might just mention, not sure what you are wanting to do with this vehicle, but off road modifications usually reduce both the value, and the on road driveability of the vehicle.

vehicle aint worth that much mate. gonna build it an mot it for now. Planning some major work on it next summer just gonna be a fun vehicle and tow a car transporter now and again

In standard form, they are one of the better modern Landrovers. I used to have a V8 Auto D2, very cheap to buy, and good for towing.
Discos generally are an excellent tow vehicle, and have won many awards as such.

One 0f my main reasons for keeping it. Also td5 is very tunable I have a stage one ecu to go on once I buy a nanocom. Currently have lynx which is very good but doesn't have that upper level that nanocom has
