Morning all,
Just loaded up the waggon, dogs, Mrs, walking gear, as I pulled out of the village the Disco wouldn't go above 40. Pulled over to stop and start again and she wouldn't start. The engine was turning over but it sounded as if there was no diesel getting through. There's definitely fuel in the tank. I went through the usual on for 30 off for 15 routine in case I'd somehow got air in the line. The truck started and managed to get home but covering the mile or so I still couldn't get the Landy over 40. She'll now start every time but still no power (if it was an auto I'd describe it as limp mode). Any thoughts? (please don't say burn it, the Mrs already suggested it, along with buying a new Dacia Duster!)

Do you have access to diagnostics anywhere? Without it it's just guess work which can get expensive. Was it running well despite the lack of power?

I can get it booked in at the local Landy garage but since the OT stopped at work I try to do a bit more myself first.

It sounded fine when she started and going through the village at 25 was normal.
The Mrs has just pointed out I can get up to £6k scrappage at Mazda
