Temporary fix ha!
He is a little on the heavy side but it was bought primarily for him (amongst the other small dog tribe)
I’m mainly VAG group cars so this is a new learning curve for me but so far so good, I had to become a google tech when it came to the EKA code, so happy when I’d cracked it. We are currently in pursuit of a silver quarter, going stick some springs on the back, I’m guessing you prefer the air bags?

Smart Motor..

I wished she had airbags when towing as the rear is self leveling! ;)

On springs if you have a lot of weight on the ball the arse sags! I have rubber spring aids on mine when towing heavy loads. ;)

Yes i'd prefer Air!

Does yours have ACE? "active cornering enhancement" ??

Enjoyed that read, we recently bought our bargain, little bit cheaper but more to do.
This is my partners 3rd Disco but my first, there is something extremely intriguing about it. As you can see from the picture N/S damage and on popped air bag :(

Test run for some of the dogs
Cleaning took me a full Dyson and 2/3 pack of antibacterial wipes
Remove the rear load cover and you will be surprised just how much more room there is for the dogs.:)

I don’t believe ACE is fitted to ours, was it only certain trim levels? Ours is a Landmark, leather seats but only drivers air bag.

I work a lot with the likes of Audi Q7’s and the air suspension on them make me shudder, unnecessarily complex expensive systems that just bugger up for the fun of it. Saying that, Audi’s make me shudder full stop.

LR's D2 air is pretty simple!

ACE can be identified by either the 2 caps on the power steering reservoir or the Rams on the Anti roll bar ;)

IIRC it was an option for the GS and above!

Our Shep has been slumming it in a wee Fiesta for a while now, I think even the concept of being able turn around is a huge bonus to him right now
I’m guessing dog guards are a simple enough to fit?

Easy enough but if you do buy one make sure it comes complete with the fittings as they are hard to find for the D2.

todays scenario, got it running, air bags up all ok levelled out, abs all ok, ace light on got 6 dtc on Hamkeye,
fuel flap wont open, no rear wiper, and no oil light on dash, tried with hawkeye still no joy,
fuses all ok,
does anybody know what these mean? dont really want to remove ace but might, can the car be driven with these faults?

today set off dry, then 8.30 rain, went 2 mile down the road and i could see plumes of smoke from the rear, musta been lying in the system exces fuel with being sat, phew! cleared in about 400yrds, then up to Burlington slate quarry, 2.5t of 20mm pipe bedding, 1st time ive towed with air and ace, always had one or the other! Brilliant! pulled it no probs! sat solid at 55-60 mph, no wollowing etc, so a big yes for keeping the ace and air, all went well on the 40mile round trip for a maiden voyage, must admit gears are not a perfect as hoped but you get used to em, so gave it a wash tonight to get the residue of waxoyl, oil and sitting around all summer off, didnt wanna tempt fate before,
