I want to replace my TD5 camshaft (year 2001 15p engine)

I bought a second hand cam shaft and rocker shaft, the rocker shaft seems easy to identify the 10p from the 15p

But the cam shaft is a different story, I have a shaft but need to be 100% sure its correct but I can’t see any identification marks on it.

Does anyone know how to distinguish which cam shaft is which?

I also noticed the rocker arms have different numbers on them, anyone know the meaning of these?

Re the rockers all same number

I think it's the injector rockers which are different on the newer engines with the green top injectors, they operate at higher pressure, looking at the Turner pages it shows two cam shafts but says one is obsolete.
I bought a used cam shaft which was bought as from a 15p engine but I would like to check it if possible, dont want to do any damage.

The early camshaft part no. starts ERR. It’s etched at the front. Hard to see unless in the right light.
A later cam starts LC something.
I haven't looked that close, I checked the cam shaft I had and didn't see anything stamped on it, better look closely and see if its marked,.

Have you tried calling Turners? They are brilliant on the phone, excellent support. IIRC you've bought parts from them too.
Freida answers the phone and she is very knowledgeable herself. If she gets stuck she goes and has a word with her husband in the workshop.

I wondered about that, but it feels a bit cheeky when you havent bought anything for a while. I am looking at head gaskets and bits so I may give them a try.
