Loss of power

hi all I have a 2011 freelancer 2 when cold the car will loss power but only for a slit second two or three times but recently it has started to happen when the car is warm there is no pattern to when it happens just randomly but the only for a split second the reduced engine performance as happen twice but has gone back to normal both times any ideas

Best is to read codes. Will give you a better idea of what the fault might be if there are any stored.

Start by checking all turbo hoses. Look for tears and even pin holes that may no be obvous at 1st. It may be loosing pressure when boosting so it trows up the error. Hoses fel soften slightly more when warm so may explain why it does it more whe warm. . If its all good then move to the Maf sensor and Map. If you have an obd2 reader try reading live data while driving the car and see what happens. Drop in pressure etc when loosing power etc. Also worth having fuel filter replaced if it hasn't been done for some time. There have been similar symptoms caused by that although doubt its ghe case here.

Great found a slit in hose where it goes in the inter cooler I think I will replace both hoses and the plastic in the middle non of it looks the best your a star
