Landy colours to RAL colours

Does anyone have a Land-Rover to RAL colours conversion chart?

I'm actually looking for the nearest RAL to the Series off-white or cream or whatever it's called - roof & wheels colour.

I'm a bloke so I can only see in 16 colours. Many of those look the same.

You probably mean Ivory white, don't know the RAL code for a white near this but the Land Rover code is LRC354.

Thanks - yes I guess I do mean Ivory White and thanks for the code.

If you have a professional decorators merchant nearby (Dulux, Crown etc) have a word with them and ask nicely if they have a RAL fandeck. If you can take the car to them they should be able to match it exactly - or as near as dammit is to swearing. I matched all manner of things when I sold paint.

Good insight - except I don't have anything for comparison.
If anyone discovers they are missing an Ivory White wheel, don't call me.......

That bolloxes that idea up then

I may be forced to buy the official stuff.

Near enough I expect.

My S3 is a shed on wheels - concours it ain't! Off-white slap will do......

Looking at the Trimite colour charts, RAL9016 is Traffic White and not very 'creamy' at all.

I'd suggest getting a sample and trying it out first. RAL9001 Cream is closer I feel.

TBH that was my feeling too, but like I said, I only see in 16 colours, and I only have a computer monitor swatch. That's why I was looking for a technical solution rather than the judgement.

Mine is a 'proper' colour chart, and Trimite are pretty good with their samples.

I'd get a small tin first, or even try for a tin of Humbrol enamel, they may just do it.

Lots of small RAL9001 touch-up paints on ebay.

I have had before me a real Land Rover and a RAL chart. On one side, the side normally parked in the sun, 9016 is closest, on the other 9001......
This may be because I was in the sun.....

I'm going for 9001 - it is easier to find el cheapo cheapo.

I didn't know they were there - useful anyway, irrespective of price.

does anyone know the colour for the rims, wheel nuts and hub caps on a military series as i have seen some which are white and others which are green ?

Spoze it depends what it was used for or what camo it was dressed in. The standard factory colours are simple enough.
