Freelander 2 (LR2) Parking Display

Hi. Just bought a '08 Freelander 2. It has a silly little display box on the dash set back at the windscreen. What it shows is parking distance but it is almost invisible because (A) it was cheap and nasty (B) it has been cooked by the careful design selection of location. At first I thought it was a cheap battery stick on clock. No reference to it whatsoever in the destruction manual and it bears the label Valeo. Any ideas if a replacement is available and how to fit it?

Is it something original or after market? Can we have a pic of it?

not Ali?

Maybe an Ali special resold on eBay for a few more quid.

But it is marked Valeo.....do they not make the parking sensors for Landrover?

Aftermarket installation - I think Valeo make the factory fitted sensors but no add on screens or boxes are used

Never seen that as an option int FL2 sales brochures.
