What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Today I scrubbed a techno seat base with washing powder then hosed it off, it came up like new. No need to replace them

Re-fitted the rear A frame, no dramas, then removed the rh coil and rear link bar to start cleaning up ready for paint, found a bit more welding also found that the bottom damper mount on the axle could do with being renewed. Will cut the little bugger off tomorrow and start splashing some paint around.
Happy to get the A frame back on though, complete with new bushes and ball joint.

Took it for the MoT... just waiting on a call with the result.

Got the seat box, bonnet and grill panel all in to primer, too hot to do any of the top coat.

Oh and got the cappings back from blasting and powder coating

It passed! It needed a small amount of brake fluid but otherwise, all good!

I’m happy, and so is Mrs K as I didn’t get a big bill!

Cut off the rusty lower damper mounting on the rear axle. Gave everything a coat of primer.

Treated the tank to a bit of good news as well.

1st of the colour coats going on.

Feck it's been a tad warm the last couple of days. 43 deg C in the shade and there aint a lot of that about till late afternoon. Glad to get the boiler suit and gloves off.

I know it's not up there with some of the restos logged on LZ, but it'll do for me.
Got a lot to do on the body when I put that back on, looking forward to that part of it.

I was out in the heat yesterday fitting my new chequer plate wing tops.

This mornings update. Painted the bonnet and grille panel in top coat.

Just broke the passenger seat I had put it forward and then leant on it. It made a creaking sound and now won't stay in position

It seems I have stressed the mechanism so after stripping it and a judicial smack with a hammer, it has gone back in

Done a bit more this afternoon, doors to go on tomorrow and then try and line everything up.

Getting there! It really is looking good now

RH rear all back together with the exception of the damper which needs a new axle mounting bracket, (arriving Tuesday) Loom put through some flex conduit and temp tagged to top of chassis rail.

LH rear suspension removed.

Sitting on the drive with is front wheels off, being waxoyled

Fitted this today....

Steering ball joint. Tighten up the panard rod.

.......and applied Dinitrol to the fixings.

applied some penetrating spray to the NS radius arm bolts, hopefully they come out easier than the OS ones did on Sunday.
