I have a 62 plate freelander 2 whose satnav has stopped working. I am trying to locate the satnav unit - forums say its under a front seat but its not. Any suggestions please.

Take a look in the boot where the spare wheel is, but I thought it was under the drivers seat myself

It’s integral in the head unit on the later models (with LED rear lights)

When I ask for nav the screen just shows "Navigation is initialising. Please wait." And that message never goes.
I have realised that my car early 2013 has its maps on HDD not on DVD so it can't be a DVD problem.
