Led spot lights

Hi anyone know if I can get behind the nudge bar of a td 4 facelift without taking the whole bumper apart need to put led spots in also have a small bar to put in but don't know if I can self tap into the metal bar behind the bumper with m8 bolts. Is it a pain to get the bumper off if needed.

No. You need to remove the bumper to get behind it. I fitted a light bar in the grill space, which looks good and works well, although I do have the nudge bar assembly on mine.

Looks good, is it quite easy to take off the bumper. Mine is more like this not bolted more integrated into the bumper.

The centre section is moulded along with the rest of the bumper, so the whole thing comes off as one. The bumper is only held on by around a dozen fixings, although all those in wheel arches will be rusted up. But you can't remove just the centre section in you picture.

is the second picture of the mount. one that goes behind the number plate and taps on to the metal through the bumper

I think it does I am going to put 2on that bar and 2conecting somewhere on the bumper.
