Hi I have a 55plate Range Rover sport. When I try to lower the suspension he front only stays low And the back raises up which then leads to a warning message "reset suspension hight to clear the obstruction" or something. Along that lines. can anyone help with what this could be.

When Range Rover had a look they say that it could be that the compresser is not original.?

Would really appreciate any advice or help
Cheers

It means the EAS has detected that something is preventing the car from dropping on the rear and telling you to check it out and if there is a rock or something under the car to move it or the car!!

If there is indeed nothing under the car, it is more than likely the EAS valve block - the valve isn't opening to let the air out and as the ECU isn't seeing a height change so it thinks something is obstructing the car from lowering.

The compressor won't prevent it lowering....only raising!!

Thanks for reply I have it booked at a specialist Range Rover garage on Thursdays. They have mentioned a sensor or calibration issue so I will mention this to. Cheers

How did you get on ???

OriginalPoster (^you^) if you click the persons name/profile it will show details (like they haven’t logged on in 3yrs). Some come back - usually ones that put a result and TY at the end.
Glad to see you’re using the facilities and taking an active interest, stick around :)

Do you have ride height problem we can help with??

Hi

Plus 1 , My D3 doesn’t sway , remains well planted at motorway speeds or through country lanes , did before I rebuilt the suspension though, lol

Think they handle remarkably well seeing there a 2.7 ton lump
