Freelander2 stereo problem

I am having a problem with my freelander2 hse model ,the stereo and the satnav screen flash on and off. Sometimes it will last for ten minutes ,sometimes it won’t happen ,any ideas thanks

The MOST fibre optic ring is being broken - you need to check the modules on the system are all working correctly.

You can get a bypass prism for diagnostic purposes

Thanks for the reply ,I wouldn’t know where to start ,my satnav volume is also coming through in low volume and not overriding the stereo as it was ,I am thinking of having one of these car play stereos fitted .as long as I can keep my front and back sensors ,checking on prices at the minute

Do you know of any good car auto electricians that could sort this thanks

Best bet is to get fault codes read - bit of a drive for you but I use 4x4 Development in Droitwich for my diagnostic and major repairs

When you say flashing on and oft... is it just the display flashing or does it go through the whole power up cycle each time it comes back on?
