Drove to Resolven take the dog for walk down the canals. Met a beautiful woman at the food place gave my dog free food :)

Got back to truck - hot start
Not happened for ages, cooled FIP and it went again. Started cutting out at junctions on way home, got better by time got home?
Battery seemed hot on +side, hope that is right voltage regulator :(

If it's just hot round the + terminal, I'd suspect a loose or corroded terminal or corrosion where the cable attaches to the terminal clamp.

The + terminal and that side of battery was ‘quite warm’ not cooking, the negative was cool. No electrical issues in vehicle, battery shows green light. (I have no battery cover)

I will take terminals off and clean thoroughly though they aren’t particularly corroded.

Could just be heat transfer from the wire heating up, the wire sometimes corrodes inside the plastic reducing it's current carrying capacity.

Landy decided to have an earthing difficulty, to both ends of the battery earth cable off and cleaned up, attached a wire first so ecu didn't lose its marbles
Seems to have been a fix!
Greased propshafts too

What I did....................................
Sat in it and nigh on had a coronary.
I've been looking down the barrel of my arch enemies the abs and tc lights on the dash and the accompanying bleeps
for six or seven months and thousands of towing miles through Spain, France, England and Wales- up to a week or so ago when I fixed the problem.
Just as I thought it was safe to go out again , gloating over a blank dash.....................................
Horror upon horror, the dreaded bleeps. Blood pressure went to 1500 over 850 and I sat nodding and dribbling in the window
for seconds.
o_O:p;)................................a brake light bulb failure.
