Looks great. Much better. Love those wheels on the Classic

No, after doing a fair bit of reading on the subject I opted to take the weights off. Marked on the tyre with location/weight, very thin screwdriver tapped under the weight clip to remove, pinch up the clip very slightly before refitting.

How that looks good:):) they match the door handles :D:):)

OH yeah, You know I hadn't spotted that. Dim or what. :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Ordered new back air bags and pins from island4x4 (something for the weekend). Developed a saggy rear end one side (answers please on a post card):p:p:p:p:p:p
 
She's still sat quietly in her corner while I scrap off the remaining window of tint and huff while trying to find a brake actuator so she's safe to drive without massive kickback. *sigh*
 
Cable tied the D/S rear ride height sensor rod back on, it had the normal corrosion had expanded and snapped the plastic,
Anyone know are both sides the same part number (I have a 2002 L322 with Xenon lights)

Tried bleeding the brakes as per RAVE and pushing all ABS sensors in? If air in modulator you might need to push a lot of fluid through to clear it.
 
Noticed a slight leak/damp patch in driver side headlining after the recent heavy rains so rather than chase my tail trying to find where it might be coming from i thought i would try a slightly logical approach to finding it. I first taped up the sunroof joints using waterproof tape then covered the roof rail trims using the same method, this was to stop water getting through if there was one or more areas that were leaking( my inkling was that it was coming in through where the windscreen met the roof on the drivers side) i then got out the hose and start drenching from the bottom of the windscreen up (with a mate sat in car looking at the area where the damp was previously) when i got to the top left ( looking from the front) my mate noticed a drip ( not me i hasten to add ) I then dried off the screen and trim area, then applied waterproof tape to the screen top trim and and A pillar trim joint, then removed sun roof tape and hosed it down for a while and no leak and lastly removed roof rail tape and hosed it down and no leak, therefore it looks like the only place it was leaking was under the screen top trim. So firstly I removed both A pillar trims and then pulling (gently but firmly) the top trim from the drivers side it slowly came off and I only broke one clip in the process. I cleaned all around the gap between the top off the screen and the roof , there was a slightly rusty area that looked like the source of the leak so I rubbed it down with with sand paper cleaned the area again and applied a rust cure, then applied black windscreen sealant all around the screen where it meets the body , put the clips back on the little pegs on the roof then pushed the top trim back in and lastly the A Pillar trims, I waited a few hours for the sealant to cure then hosed the screen down AND no leak, then hosed everything down and still no leak ( for now at least), I ordered more trim clips just in case i have to remove the trim again. Part number is DCE10038L .Hope all that made sense
 
Corrosion on mounting bolts and linkage as well as perished lower rod end has caused the failure of D/S rear ride height sensor, all replaced now

Thats how I "fixed" mine. Holding ok at the moment. I'll sort it properly eventually. Maybe. Possibly. If it breaks again. So probably not!
