They aren't that common on older Defenders, as most owners prefer steel. But IIRC, alloys were standard from Td5s on, so most later vehicles will have them.
Not sure on value, but the tyres look pretty good, so I would go for the new value of the tyres, and maybe a tenner a wheel on top for the wheels. You might get more, but if you want a quick sale may be a good idea to price realistically.

Thank I didn’t know they became standard on TD5s onwards. I’ll keep looking for some good wolfs and get what I get for these
I would suggest the wheels are not really worth anything imo. Unless they are boost alloys (these are not) defender alloys are more common then people think and again unless boosts, not that desirable. The tyres however in that condition will be worth £90-110 each. I bought a set of identical tyres individual as new take offs (took about 6 months to get a set) about two years ago as they are no longer made. I thought I got a good deal if I paid less than £100.

Not sure I would pay up to £100 for KOs now. Dag019 may have paid that two years ago, but that was for relatively new tyres. These may have low mileage, but BFG phased the KO out in late 2015 so they are at least 3 and a half years old (possibly much more), will probably have spent that time on the vehicle and in the Sun. The KO2s are also a significantly better tyre. I would guess £70 each for the wheel and tyre at most.

Your right they probably are quite old but from the condition I doubt they have been out side for that amount of time I would guess they’ve been hidden on a rack in a tire fitters for most of that time. No cracking fading of colour and most of the rubber excess from manufacture is still there. But that would be an acceptable price

The wheels probably aren't worth much, but because the tyres are on them, it saves the cost of having the tyres fitted if you already have alloy wheels.
Most tyre places will charge for fitting if they haven't supplied the tyres.
Very true. I fit my own tyres (got the hgv fitter at work to teach me how) so only pay to have them balanced. Some places are also funny about fitting tyres they have not supplied and even more do not like fitting used tyres. So being on rims already will have a bearing and should certainly make them easier to sell.

I used to fit my own years ago, really CBA now, the tyre places do a good job quickly.
And as a general rule, when I advertise anything for sale, I state the maximum price first off.
It is very easy to knock off 50 or 100 quid when the buyer has turned up, very difficult to add any money on if they bite your hand off.

They are standard on the later rrc and if I had not got a set recently I would have snapped these up. Min £50 a wheel and tyre, more if tyre and wheel are really nice. Ebay and gumtree for a swap or for sale. Guys came up from Leeds to Dundee to pick up a set of these wheels.

My 1996 300Tdi came with alloys as standard with the 267x75 R16 on. Don't know if there is a sudden change point to alloys or if LR did their usual fade out and kept fitting whatever was left lying around on the factory floor.
