Advice regarding replacement stereo please on a FL2 with Alpine set up currently

Hello, I have a Freelander 2 Sport LE SD4 Auto and wish to upgrade my stereo. I have contacted a local chap who has recommended a Pioneer system that I like the look of. However he has said that I need to find out if my current system (it has the Alpine set up) is fibre optic amplified as if it is he will not install it because it can have amp issues with it not working afterwards. Could someone advise if my system has this please?

What does your radio look like currently?
Do you have a touchscreen?

The sat nav is touchscreen but the radio isn’t

It has a fibre optic factory fit stereo so it’ll be a tough job to replace but not unachievable but it’s costly with interface boxes etc
