I've got chequer plating on my bonnet and wing tops for my defender. I want to remove it because I'm not a fan of the way it looks. Its riveted on and I dont have a problem with that, the issue I have is that after I've taken the plating off im going to be left with a load of holes in my bonnet and wing tops? What's the best way to cover/fill these without basically respray the whole area to make it look flat again?

What could I do to hide the holes?

You might want to rivet them back on once there off. the panels might to a mess under them and need sprayed anyway.

Have you thought about spraying the plate body coloured to blend them in.
