any advice greatly appreciated.......

Been a member here for ages, and get a lot out of everything, haven't had anything to add until now, as the only knowledge I have about land rovers is what I've gleaned from here, but now I'm stuck, and who better to turn to.......
I have a 2001 Freelander, and a whole bunch of stuff stopped all at once:
Central Locking
Electric Windows
Stereo
Clock
Seat Warmers
Interior Lighting
Tail Gate (can't even open manually with the key)
Tail Gate Window
Sun Roof
Went one by one through all the fuses, (interior and under the bonnet) and they are all fine, and there my knowledge of what to do is exhausted! Anyone had similar issues and know what to do? Or any ideas on anything else I can check?
Tried to do the self check thing, turn on/rear fogs etc, but because the electrics are working it didn't do anything. What confuses me though is that the dash lights come on, handbrake, door open etc

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

One of the Main fusible links? (If FL's have them).

Smells a bit like the CCU - behind the passenger compartment fuse box. Check its earth.

Dan, there are so many fusible links in there I wouldn't know which one to look at, or what I was even looking for to be honest. (They are the yellow boxes with the fuses, right?)

Yes, the fusible links are the bigger boxes amongst the fuses - just big fuses really. You can see if the link has broken.

It depends on your experience a bit. Assuming the fusible links are OK, are you happy to dig back behind the passenger fusebox and find the CCU? There’s a black wire indicated above (CCU earth) which goes to C0963-1, left kick panel earth. I would find this wire, follow it to where it connects to the car metalwork and clean up the connection. Disconnect battery negative before you start.

Have all these packed up at the same time or one by one over a period of time.

the key on the tailgate is to raise the window only, does not open or close the rear door

I'll 2nd the CCU being at fault - it looks like the common piece - although I'm not sure why it would stop the radio, but that may be wired through it.

There is a quite recent (within last couple of months) thread where someone had multiple failures that was fixed by replacing the CCU.

I had multiple failiures on a Vauxhall Zafira. Replacing the CCU fixed the issues.

I would think it prudent to check the fuse box thoroughly, before messing with the CCU unnecessarily. Some items that don't work, aren't connected to the CCU at all, like the clock, radio and sun roof. So the fault must be in a circuit that powers those items too.
It would be sensible to check the ignition switch is working correctly too, as it has multiple outputs to different circuits.

That seems a lot to go wrong in one go! The consensus (above posts) seems to be that some of those things don't route through the CCU.
Does it start? At the risk of suggesting something obvious, is the battery good and holding charge?
Perhaps 'borrow' another and see what happens.

Brand new battery in there, and starts first time every time, since having a new starter motor maybe 12 months ago.
Tested each fuse, everyone I could find, and all of them were fine except one which I changed.
