I'm based in Dublin/Wicklow. I have a Disco 1 and an old ex military Series III (my poor old beloved SII is dying due to lack of time, parts, money).

Ex military that someone had set up for safari otherwise bog standard, 2.25 diesel. I loved that one, my first Land Rover until I hit a massive speed bump at 60 and snapped the chassis I think it is still on the road in Wexford in Ireland somewhere.

Can’t tell - it’s outside the system, comes up registered 1992 hasn’t had its 1st mot yet.

I’ve heard the 2.25D was awful although not tried that flavour myself.

I bought it in Gloucester and drove it back to Ireland. I was deaf for 2 days after I got back so first upgrade was soundproofing and a fairey overdrive. Gutless beast but I still loved it. I never got around to registering it, I had a UK address and insurance with Tesco UK, there should have been at least one MOT because I remember taking it up to Newry to have an MOT done but it doesnt seem to be on the system.

Before the system kicked in most likely. not about POWER! - as clarkson says. Can see it’s got Landy character, can stick whatever you want in the bay nuff room
