@biketeacherdave Cheers, Just watched a youtube vid and it looks fairly simple so something is bound to go wrong :) will check out saints how to for the definitive.

I re gassed my aircon and it thought yep thats not bad, then I turned the dial to cold on the centre vent and had to put my coat on :D

@Grrrrrr and @kds cheers for that, Is that on the L322?
Yes L322 got every thing from local motor factors could have been apec not sure without looking for the invoice, not that easy to set up have to have both back wheels off the ground and there is always the drag from opposite side wheel to take into account. Hand brake shoes are tiny compared to size of car, bloody sure I remember the brake shoes being bigger on the mini ( the real one not the pretend bmw one ) and yes far better hand brake on the classic and p38 I had.

I’m having no luck trying to run lift pump for fuel delivery. Am I doing something wrong? No fuel from pin5 relay12, zero delivery when glow lights come on either
Beginning to think when PO said don’t let tank go down, it’s because there is no pump knowing him, or it’s not operating?

1986 RRC.
Replaced the offside rear body mount using one of Froggatts kits. Very good it was too. Needed the mount & inner sill repair plate plus the rubber mounting set.

If you take around 5mm off the bolt & put it through from underneath it's easier then trying to get it in from the top. Apart from that follow their 'how to'.
I'd done the other side a few years ago making the mount myself but this saves a lot of messing about.

I can also recommend the small cut-off discs on a Dremel flexible extension for getting into tight places. You do use a few - I went through 8 or 9 - but makes life so much easier.

The engine cutting out does not affect the brakes on a P38, the assistance is provided by the electric pump not vacuum from the engine.
I had initial pressure but faded quickly at stopped junction off motorway. HB started to slow vehicle but then clattered about, reduced speed considerably but not as much as I had hoped by far. I’d only used it as a park brake before of which it is very strong

Not ideal but it'll be fine there. Just don't overtighten the clips and restrict fuel flow.

I've got a hot-start fix fitted. Slacken the fuel filter and turn the ignition and fuel spills everywhere. Wammers did a how to on bridging the relay. There's a fuse too. Fuse 39, maybe?

My NRV is in the pipe from bulkhead to filter. I've had my lift pump fail twice and never even noticed :D

Think it was you that pointed out to me it was in wrong place some time ago?;)
May stick the one I took out before the filter can you take a pic of yours for me?

Running the airlock out without lift will be fun  Hope don’t fry FIP

Made sure it is not too tight as the plastic would restrict easily with those powerful little clips. If i wobbled the NRV it would fill up with bubbles so xtra precaution. Clear Pipe is always clammy with diesel but too expensive to replace. Will try fuse I thought it was just a relay

Today I replaced the LPG pressure sensor on my vapouriser unit that was giving a red indication on the LPG switch, one cap head was seized in that made a 5 minute job take 1 hour but that's par for the course.
I also replaced the rain sensor lens as there were bubbles within the adhesive that rendered auto wipers ineffective, along with this I'm looking at converting to auto lights.

Changed the front nearside droplink and both tie rods, just wish I had enough ground clearance to tighten the bolts up fully.
May nip to a local garage in the morning to get them nipped up.
