Hi I am Ron. It said to introduce myself so here I am. Ron or Ronnie. From Wales with a 2003 Discovery TD5 that has so far leaked like a sieve (fixed it), had fuel pump go miles from anywhere (rescued by RAC with the 'tow of shame' home), but its my vehicle (tho the wife thinks its hers).

Welcome:)

I think you will find your not alone with the tow of shame, most understand:( sadly.

What you me it’s your car when it’s broke.
And hers when it’s running fine:D

Enjoy, sure you will find most answers on here.

Sorry. Am new to all this. not too tech savvy. rather a vehicle than a laptop. I just posted in that section - did a new thread asking for advice but I cant find my post haha

Hi and welcome!

You’re definitely not alone with your Land Rover coming home via the big orange/yellow taxi! I’ve used it a few times!

Welcome Ron. You've found a very nice, helpful bunch here.

On the subject of recoveries:
I drive these new fangled Range Rover Sports and Evoques about for a living.
Took 3 recovery trucks to get me from Reading to Newport last week after a puncture on the M4. No chuffing spare wheel, just a battery the size of a small coffin. That truly is a 'tow of shame'.

Me sticking to the old uns.
