Or just run a pipe fron valve block to reservoir from above just to check if it fills up and lifts ok the you know you have a leak and can worry about getting under it later

If I had EAS I would fit a valve to put a compressor on it just in case. Atleast could get axle stands under there then.

If it’s stuck then I doubt it’s a leak or it would have gone down. But if you do get stuck I still got pipes and stuff still lingering on mine that are okay. I’m keeping EAS box for If i get psi powerbox can put it in there tidy.

I'm guessing it depends if it has thrown a hard fault. If it has TAHF and cannot get to intended height then I think it just freezes and won't go up or down.
It's a P38, if it has a hard fault, the "Slow 35 mph" message will show and the EAS will drop to the bump stops. Some transient faults will cause the car to go to wading height with no fault message.

And did that knock out your EAS?

I think so. Trying to remember. Yes. I think it froze and then I parked up in someone's house and noticed the brake lights reflected in their shiny garage door. There's a thread on here somewhere where Wammers dug out the brake switch adjustment guidance.
