Series 3 Half shaft bearing on swivel housing

I'm overhauling my swivel housing and just got to fitting a new half shaft bearing (the bigger one at the end). I was surprised that it just slotted in and didn't need pressing.

These are all new components from better manufacturers.

Is this how it is supposed to be? I fear that the whole bearing will spin in the housing. Any advice?

bearing race in the hub needs to be a press fit otherwise it will spin
