Hi,

This is me introducing myself, as directed! I have a 1986 V8 90 that I have owned for over 20 years. It used to be a CSW, but I took the roof off soon after I bought it and had a soft top made by a car trimmer in Plymouth. It's just had a Richards Chassis fitted (very happy with that) and is getting a general spruce up now I have retired. My wife and I have just bought a holiday home in Spain, so I joined the forum to see if any members had any experience of getting an old Land Rover registered onto Spanish plates. There are a number of companies advertising this as a service, but all go wibble because it not exactly as it left the factory. Any advice would be gratefully received!

Hi and welcome!

Can’t help with your query but that’s a fantastic Landy! Good luck with your query.

Welcome:)

Sounds like a nice landy, pics please:D:p

As for Spanish reg as above ask in defender section you could face problems with the new chassis.

Good luck in your new retirement and home, enjoy:)

Directed how, it’s first post?

Good practice to intro anyhow and some will take you more seriously, good manners and such.

Welcome to Landyzone :)

@Shippers may know more about the export stuff?
Thanks for your welcome (and everyone else's). Joining the forum has been great - some really good advice and everyone has been very friendly and helpful. About being "directed", the welcome email suggests introducing myself - so I did! :)
