My daughter bought me a 1995 RR several months. They are trying to start it and nothing is happening. No turnover, no no nothing.
They are putting in a new battery. Is there anything else they need to do once the battery is replaced?
Responses from me on this post may take time as I'm backi in the hospital.
Thanks guys.

You are lucky, we have them over here that won't start after being stood round overnight. ;):D:D

I know the V8's don't like the cold & damp weather prevalent in winter so mine is run weekly during those months. Outside that period 3/4 weeks of parking in the open doesn't phase it.

I am fortunate to have the garage
And keep my Rover inside when not driveing
The Honda and ford seem to handle the outside better than the Rover
With that said
If I did leave mine out in the cold for some months..., and it wouldn’t start
I’d be all over it
Also sorry to hear you are not feeling well
And hope you too are up and running soon
Mike

I'm finally home after 6 more days in the hospital due to severe internal bleeding. I came close to bleeding to death, but I'm still here.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully I' ll be able enough to make the trip to retrieve it myself soon. The kids wanted to surprise me in the hospital but couldn't get it started. Thank goodness they didn't lock it!

Get yourself better soon my friend, easy does it, be patient.

Cheers! I'm getting stronger every day, but after an ruptured appendix, internal bleeding and then a bout of pneumonia it's going to take a bit of time. It's a good thing that I am too stupid to know when to die.

I had a ruptured appendix and an emergency op when i was 18. Bloody painful, so i know what you have gone through.
