So i recently replaced the EAS pump on my 2001 rr vouge. The pump never runs automatically. but i can activate it by jumping the EAS relay and i can select diffrent ride hights without a problem. If anyone has any advice please say.

Thermal switch maybe duff. Look at my EAS post in tech archive for how to test it.
 
If it was replaced because the system had gone into a fault - the fault will need to be cleared before the system will jump into life.

Nope if that was the case he would not be able to select and change ride heights. Afternoon Ant trust you are well.

The thermal swich seems to be the culprit due to the whole EAS system working apart from the pump. But for now i've got a little swich jamed under the dash bord that goes to the fuse box so that i can still operate it. :D

Get thermal switch repaired ASAP. What you have rigged up does not come highly recommended.
 
Especially by the Firebrigade!!

I am well Tony, overworked and kids are a pain.....no time to do anything and always tired, but other than that I am well.

I trust your in similar fettle?

Bit betterer of late thanks for asking. Got to get in garage and sort this bloody mower the grass is taking over. ;):D
