Sound deadening

Got the dash off for other jobs, was thinking of doing AS MUCH as possible so I only have to do this once.

Any recommendations for sound deadening stuff?

I wouldn't have thought you could get much behind the dash tbh, that's why LR put it on the engine side I should imagine?

Just looked at your pic better...2mm thick should be ok, weather it does anything is a different matter.

I could put it on the engine side. Never thought of that!

now searching for heat resistant stuff. if the price goes up that might be the decider!

It mustn't retain water either.
The LR stuff was foil faced that's all I can remember when looking at a breaker at craddocks years ago. I would have had it away but it was torn and tatty so never bothered.

where did you put it? engine bay? or inside?

Have cut shapes so far for Under bonnet and engine bay Bulkhead/Firewall, some bits that are left are going in behind the back seats on the seat box/wheel arches.

Will post up pix when it’s done at the weekend - wheel bearing has jumped the queue.....
