So is is slightly down from when I last checked.

If dry this weekend I'll check the block connections are still tight and the ram nuts are also tight, I think I may have some spare Dowty washers.

However I suspect the pump pair and rust.

So a few questions.

Can the pump pipe very slow leak or does it normally burst?
Where in pump pipe is the damper?
What would happen with no damper?
What are decent replacements?
How easy to do?

Finally do I chop off the new ones at the flange or the wheelarch? That would be compression onto block or compression on to existing hose.

I know I would need 2 new 3/8th olives.

Hi I would clean and check all joints first to see if and where system leaking from
 
Might be OK, front block is damp as is upper front hose to front ram so MAY be a loose join, I have some hydraulic sealer somewhere.

Will order one ram spare.
 
Looks like a loose swivel so no urgent front pipe replacement.

I think when warmer take off all hoses and reseal with better hydraulic thread seal
 
Pump pair were loose in the block as well but no swivels as clamped on pipe after tightening on block.

Hope that fixes it. When it happened to me it was the most unbelievably tiny pinhole in the metal section of the down pipe from the reservoir to the pump. Worn through due to friction with another pipe. Took the panels off under the wheel arches and went through all the pipes under there, insulating them all with split garden hose. Quite a few were needed.

Last time I checked around December everything was dry.

Going to order a spare ram hose to keep in the car. If ACE fails I will have a longer commute time. Was bad enough just in lock bars when the ECU went

Luckily, as soon as I bought my TD5 I had a really good look around underneath and spotted that the hose on the rear was being trapped a bit when the bar was compressed. Moved it to one side and tie-wrapped it in place. when mine locked the once, even though I was on a really steep twisty mountain road in France, it really drove very normally. Like a D1 with gas shocks, no trouble at all.
