Mystery consul/dash lights

i have a 1997 p38 diesel auto dhse , I have just changed the BECM , engine ecu, dashboard, door lock and ignition key etc, engine now now starts air suspension works , but I have consul lights or radio some switches work but windows don’t as the hevac unit , the revise lights stay on when in P slip into neutral go out any help please

The reverse lights stay on in Park. Why?

Some of his switches aren't working with the new BECM, possibility windows and HEVAC?

Incorrect BeCM type?

I've seen issues like this on my tester (which is set up for testing auto vehicles) when I've put a BECM on from a manual vehicle.

My guess is that the BECM you've fitted is set to Manual transmission.

What was the reason it was swapped in the first place?

If the parameters are not set correctly in the BECM you will get all manner of problems. You need a Nanocom and someone who knows how to use it to go through it for you.
