Sadly have had a three day leaning trip in Wales reduced to one because of the above. When under a sustained load up a hill trying to maintain normal traffic speeds My D2 TD5 auto was beginning to lose power, then ‘misfire’ followed by a stall when you stopped. Turn the key again and all is good until the next hill. Managed to nurse it home on A&B roads, 250 miles in about 8 hours! Over the last few months it has taken a couple of attempts to start on two or three occasions. Could it be linked?
Fault codes are open circuits on all injectors, ecu plugs appear to be squeaky clean on the inside. I have new injector seals and a loom to fit and have read about a potential place the loom can rub on ace pipes, any other pointers gratefully received!!
