i bought this roof tent at the end of last year and we used it during the winter to full effect.

When i got it, it was pretty shagged, so i stripped it down, replaced the base with 12mm buffalo board and rebuilt it with new fixings etc. I also rigged up a small awning which allows you to get in and out of it without getting wet or snowed on ( I tested this on Dartmoor in the middle of some severe winter weather! ) It is a canvas tent, so although you can use it in the rain and it wont leak, long periods of it remaining closed whislt wet won't do it much good over time, so i'd advise it to be more of a fair weather tent or keep it aired. It has carpet underlay and foam to sleep on and is bloody comfy tbh.

it will come with 2 roof bars which work fine, but 3 would probably be better. I've lined the original cover as it had holes in it and it's a snug fit but once you get the hang of putting it up and down, it becomes second nature.

You can spend a fortune on what is basically a tent on a hard base, but i'm a sensible chap so i'm happy to let this one go for £550. It's less than i originally paid for it with the rebuild and with the roof bars, i think it's a fair price. if you think differently, then please put your thoughts below in a sensible manner and i might be inclined to knock the price about abit ;)

I'll get some pics up of it over the next few days and it's sat at home ready to fit should you turn up to collect...i'll even throw in a free night's stay in our airbnb if you're travelling far and help you fit it!

Can't get fairer than that :D

It says autohome or eurohome or something like that on the cover ( it's outside atm )

I looked for ages for an affordable one, it seems stupid the prices people will pay for technically a folding tent!
