Replaced the Drivers Door Seal, 5min job. Followed by an hour adjusting the door so it would shut - hinges are worn, so much faffing with striker and A post bolts. Now it shuts but sticks out - seals are a bit fat at the top.....bit like me so it’ll do (Solihull Standard!)
Just an hour. You did well there!

Replaced the Drivers and Passenger Door Seals with Bearmach versions - fit really well and no water ingress - must be an error....Previous set returned for refund as they are pooh.

Then spent 3hrs installing a Landrover Aux lighting wiring loom - gave up for today as Rugby is taking precedence. Tomorrow is finish the Battery end of proceedings and connect the lights!

Finally finished the Aux light loom installation odyssey - the little LED lights i’ve connected on Main Beam are ‘kin bright.....

The Headlamps are crystal with night breaker bulbs, look like candles....

The current battery finally gave out early Saturday morning (2am!) when I finished work so I ordered a replacement upgrade£ battery from Tayna batteries today. Hopefully, no more sluggish starting and battery worries!:D

Just spent the last couple of hours chasing down a wiring fault in the towing electrics :(
Given up for today and have decided to replace the dodgy part of the loom.
Still I got a few other things done ready for its next outing :)

Stripped out the back brakes and refitted without the mud, but with copper slip to stop the squealing.

Removed Dampers and Springs, neutralised the rust and applied TetraSchutz.

New stuff going back on tomorrow after everything has dried in this temperate climate....
