v6 knocking noise

LandRover freelancer 3 door 2001 v6 auto. I have a problem with a knocking noise coming from underneath car when I am stopped in traffic with foot on brake. When I take it out of gear noise stops. It also seem to happen when I am on different surfaces which can be intermittent. Also from stop when I accelerate this knocking noise starts again till I get up to speed. It’s only done 74000 miles. Any help anyone can give me with this matter would be greatly appreciated

it could be vibration of the engine onto the fire wall or inner wings check the engine mounting s are good

The lower engine tie bar is a known week point, especially on the V6 engine. See if you can rock the bottom of the engine.
